We are able to negotiate with Woodland contractors for fencing where liabilities exist, for coppicing when necessary and also for harvesting of mature woodland for profit.

Coppicing is necessary for regeneration and growth in mature woodland and produces great timber for fencing and traditional laths.

We carry out surveys for public liability insurance issues and also provide full risk assessments for all planned activities. This alleviates the wood owner, tenant and user of liabilities thus reducing costs and maximising profits.

Work required in fully managed woodland can be planned over the whole year with suitable periods of minimal activity allowing the various users free access and undisturbed use. We use Microsoft Project to produce these plans showing clear paths for work and leisure.

Maintenance of access tracks, paths and fencing is an ongoing issue with our Woodland Warden service you get the fully managed package allowing us to visit each property regularly and assess the outstanding works and liabilities.

We can also provide services to your leisure users such as provision of small scale mapping, construction of temporary facilities such as stables, rain shelters and even release pens for game shooters.

The warden service also extends to maximising profit by procuring users for your woodlands and managing the harvest of wildlife where necessary.
